President Obama was born on 4th August, 1961 at 7.24 pm at Honolulu, Hawaii. He has been a two term president and the next election is scheduled on 8th November, 2016. As per the 22nd amendment to United States Constitution he is not eligible to become president for the third term. Now let us see what is in store for him from his birth chart. The birth details are taken from Rodden data base which has a rating of AA. So, I believe it is correct. The analysis will be done from western astrology using tropical chart. In the following analysis, I have not considered the transitory aspect of planets to natal planets.

Natal Promise
The ascendant rising is Aquarius at 18* 03’. Pars of fortune is in the 10th house showing how powerful the person is. The ascendant lord Saturn has gone to the 7th house. Saturn is sextile to MC. Saturn is quincunx to North node (Rahu) and also to Uranus both in 7th house. It is clear that though he is a powerful man, by nature he has not been able to maintain relationship with his partners. The 7th house is house of marriage and relationship with his wife. So, he is not able to maintain cordial relationship with his wife. The 7th lord Sun is in the 6th house as well. The Sun is again in opposition to Ascendant and also square Neptune in the 9th house. So, the 7th lord also depicts the strained relationship.
The 10th lord Mars is in the 7th house. Mars is semi-square Neptune and conjunct Saturn. His major time has been spent in dealing with foreign allies. For this he would have been criticised also as the Mars is in inimical aspect to Neptune. The 10th cusp is square to North node. This shows that there has been enemies around him who have been trying to pull him down. The significator of politics Sun is also square Neptune, which reiterates this. Jupiter (siginificator for Law) is sextile to MC, shows his interest in law. He went to Harward School to study law. He got married in October, 1992. The yearly chart of 1992 shows that the natal 7th lord Sun in the 7th house in the progressed chart. In 1999 his wife gave birth to baby girl. In the chart of 1998, it is clear that the progressed Moon was seen sextile to Mercury, the natal 5th house lord. In 2001 again his wife delivered a baby girl. In 2001 yearly chart, the lord of 5th house Mercury was trine to ascendant. He published a book titled “Audacity of Hope” in 2006. In the yearly chart of 2006, the lord of 3rd house (writing) is trine to Ascendant.

The progressed Moon as on 4th August, 2014 was at 11* Taurus 02’ in the 3rd house. So the year will be full of travels for him, since Taurus is the natural 2nd house, there will be bonding within the family. Every opportunity will be taken so that he becomes one with the family. He may take up literary activities and may publish some books.
Progressed Moon square to Natal Sun – The relationship with his wife will get strained as the progressed Moon is making a square with Sun, the lord of 7th house. The progressed Sun is in the 8th house. It will be difficult to maintain relationship with his foreign partners as well. Since, Sun signifies people at high places in government he will find it difficult to maintain relationship with such people. Sun being in the 6th house in the natal chart, his health would have needed extra care. The 6th house signifies the labour class, so there will be certain issues where he would have come under dispute with the labour class.
Progressed Moon is in opposition to natal Neptune – Natal Neptune is in the 9th house and Neptune is also part lord of 2nd house. Due to this configuration, there would have been strain on the family ties. Since 9th house denotes long distance travels, he would have been under severe strain during such trips.
Progressed moon is trine to natal Pluto – Natal Pluto is in the 7th house and part lord of 10th house. So, in spite of all the disadvantages stated above he has been able to manage his official affairs quite well. Since Pluto is a planet that creates a fresh beginning by destroying the old, there could be a sea change in his personal relationship as well.
