After the death of the earlier CM, Mufti Mohommed Saeed, there does not seem to be any light on the government formation in J & K.

Let us see the reasoning for it and also decipher what can be expected.

The following chart of J & K..

JammuKashmirJK

The inner chart is the natal chart, the middle is the progressed as of today and the outside is the transit as of today.

Let us see the chart now. The 10th house in any mundane chart is the government. The 10th house is 27 Aries 36 and its lord is Mars in the ascendant in close conjunction Pluto.

So in the natal chart the 10th house lord is afflicted. Now coming to the progressed chart above, we can see that progressed Pluto is too conjunct natal Mars. The progressed MC (10th house) is just entered the 12th house (signifies loss of government) of natal chart.

Now for the confirmation the happening of the event which are promised in the natal and progressed the same combination needs to be repeated in the transit also.

In the transit chart above, you will see that transit Pluto in 16 Cap 17 is making quincunx (150 deg) a malefic aspect. Similarly, the transit Mars in 17 Scorpio 54 is making square (90 deg) another malefic aspect to natal Pluto. In addition to this transit Neptune from 008 Pisces 41 is forming quincunx to natal Mars. Transit Sun from 17 Aquarius 38 is forming opposition (180 deg) a malefic aspect.

Conclusion
From the above analysis it is clear that there will be a clear deadlock in government formation and most likely the government will not be formed. It is likely that J & K may witness elections in the near term.
