Conclusion:

The dasa of Mercury will begin from October 29, 2021. In the dasa of Mercury, the SC will be very high handed and will not budge to any political pressure. Their judgements will all be very remarkable and political class (whether ruling party or otherwise) will not be spared. SC will be fierce and bold.

Before January 2022, there can be some corruption scandal, some judges can be seen going against the CJI, there can be split amogst the judges of the SC and image of judiciary can get impacted.

This transit Rahu is currently afflciting natal Sun in Capricorn and it had afflicted natal Jupiter and Venus in Capricorn. No wonder, SC had taken on the ruling government by passing landmark judgements on mismanagement of COVID by the NDA Government. We can expect more such high handedness by SC and they will also interfere in policies of Government in the dasa of Mercury.

Analysis

The Supreme Court of India came into being on 28 January 1950. It replaced both the Federal Court of India and the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council which were then at the apex of the Indian court system. The first proceedings and inauguration, however, took place on 28 January 1950 at 9:45 am, when the judges took their seats. Which is thus regarded as the official date of establishment.

Following is the foundation chart of SC based on the above date and time.

Past events

Emenrgency imposed during Indira Gandhi…..

Courts and judges played a significant role in the history of the Emergency. Two judges — Justice V R Krishna Iyer and Justice Jag Mohan Lal Sinha — were crucial to the imposition of the Emergency. Justice Sinha’s (Allahabad High Court) verdict on June 12, 1975, declared Indira Gandhi’s election to the Lok Sabha as void. Justice Iyer, then a vacation judge in the Supreme Court, decided on Indira’s appeal. On June 24, Justice Krishna Iyer gave a conditional stay allowing her to remain a member of Parliament, but disallowing her to take part in the proceedings of the Lok Sabha. Indira Gandhi acted fast, the Emergency was declared on June 26. Justice Iyer, who is active in espousing public causes in his retired life in Kochi, looks back.

Astrological reasoning….On June 12, 1975, the Moon in Taurus at 6.06 degrees was afflicted by transit Ketu in Taurus at 6.27 degrees. In any chart affliction to the Moon by natural malefics such as Saturn, Rahu or Ketu is not good. It always gives some unforseen events.

Corruption

In a development unprecedented on June 9, 2008, in the country’s judicial history, the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), the government’s anti-corruption watchdog, had forwarded a set of complaints with allegations of corruption and misconduct against former Chief Justice of India YK Sabharwal to the government for further action.

Astrological reasoning…..On June 9, 2008, transit Rahu was at 27.56 degrees in Capricorn afflicting all major planets Jupiter, Venus and Sun in Capricorn. Also, transit Jupiter (Rx) was in Sagittarius at 27.03 degrees was going over natal Mercury in Sagittarius at 24.58 degrees.

2G spectrum case

On February 11, 2013, the Supreme Court declared allotment of spectrum as “unconstitutional and arbitrary” and quashed all the 122 licenses issued in 2008 during tenure of A. Raja (then Minister for communications & IT), the main official accused in the 2G case.

Astrological reasoning…..On February 11, 2013, the transit Jupiter was in Taurus at 12.32 degrees, giving its trine aspect to natal planets in the sign Capricorn in the 11th house. Especially with its first aspect to Sun in Capricorn at 14.31 degrees. Also, transit Ketu was in Aries at 27.20 degrees aspecting natal Mercury in Sagittarius at 24.58 degrees. The planet Mercury signifies communications.

Four judges vs chief justice

On 12 January 2018, four senior judges of the Supreme Court; Jasti Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, Madan Lokur and Kurian Joseph addressed a press conference criticizing Chief Justice Dipak Misra’s style of administration and the manner in which he allocated cases among judges of the Supreme Court. However, people close to Misra denied the allegations that allocation of cases was unfair. On 20 April 2018, seven opposition parties submitted a petition seeking impeachment of Dipak Misra to the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, with signatures from seventy-one parliamentarians. On 23 April 2018, the petition was rejected by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, primarily on the basis that the complaints were about administration and not misbehaviour, and that thus impeachment would seriously interfere with the constitutionally protected independence of the judiciary.

Astrological reasoning……On January 12, 2018, transit Ketu was in Capricorn at 22.12 degrees going over manjor natal planets, Jupiter, Venus and Sun. Also, transit Rahu/Ketu were in Cancer/Capricorn in trine to natal Rahu/Ketu in the sign Pisces/Virgo.

Ranjan Gogoi controversy

On 18 April 2019 an unnamed married woman employee of the Supreme Court filed an affidavit stating that the Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had sexually harassed her on 10–11 October 2018 by pressing his body against hers against her will. An in-house committee of the Court quickly cleared Gogoi of the sexual harassment charges, although the report of the committee was not provided to the complainant. However, there were widespread protests against the manner in which the woman’s complaint was dealt with by Supreme Court. A petition was filed before National Human Rights Commission to obtain the report of the in-house committee. The National Law University topper Survi Karwa skipped her convocation to avoid receiving her degree from Ranjan Gogoi in protest. The in house committee which cleared Gogoi of sexual harassment was chaired by Justice S A Bobde, who himself succeeded Gogoi as chief justice. The woman complainant stated that she was terrified by the systematic victimisation of her family members who were all dismissed from service following her protest against Gogoi’s sexual advances.

Astrological reasoning…..On April 18, 2019, transit Rahu/Ketu were in Cancer/Capricorn at 17.04 degrees. It was aspecting natal Rahu/Ketu in Pisces/Virgo at 17.30 degrees.

Section 377

On 6 September 2018, a five-member constitutional bench decriminalised homosexuality by partially striking down Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code in the case Navtej Singh Johar v. Union of India. The bench led by Dipak Misra unanimously declared that criminalisation of private consensual sex between adult persons of the same sex under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code was clearly unconstitutional. The court, however, held that the section would apply to bestiality, sex with minors and non consensual sexual acts.

Astrological reasoning….On September 6, 2018, transit Ketu was in Capricorn at 9.37 degrees forming exact trine to natal Moon in Taurus at 6.06 degrees.

Ayodhya case

A political, historical, and socio-religious debate, the Ayodhya dispute has been going on since 1961 when the first case was filed in court. The Supreme Court, after a marathon 40 day hearing which concluded on 16 October, reserved the decision and revealed it on 9 November 2019 stating that the disputed land will be given to Hindus and also ruled that the Muslim community will be given an alternative piece of 5 acre land for the construction of a mosque. This was one of the biggest decisions before the retirement of Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi on 17 November 2019.

Astrological reasoning…..On November 9, 2019, transit Saturn at 21.54 degrees was very close and approaching natal Mercury at 24.58 degrees in the sign Sagittarius in the 10th house of judgements. Also, transit Rahu/Ketu were at 16.54 degrees in Gemini/Sagittarius, thus forming an exact “T” square to natal Rahu/Ketu at 17.30 degrees in Pisces/Virgo.

Future predictions

The dasa of Mercury will begin from October 29, 2021. The natal Mercury is in the 10th house in the sign Sagittarius at 24.58 degrees. It is connected with Sun and Mars aspects it by the 4th aspect. In the dasa of Mercury, the SC will be very high handed and will not budge to any political pressure. Their judgements will all be very remarkable and political class (whether ruling party or otherwise) will not be spared. SC will be fierce and bold.

As per transits, transit Rahu is currrently in Tarurs at 15 degrees and will cross over the natal Moon in Taurus at 6.06 degrees. Moon is in the 2nd house in the bhava chart. Second house is family (in the context of judges within SC), money, etc. Due to this transit effect, there can be some corruption scandal, some judges can be seen going against the CJI, there can be split amogst the judges of the SC and image of judiciary can get impacted. These can happen before January 2022.
