Conclusion (For detailed astrological analysis read the analysis section):

  • The upcoming State elections schedule;
    • Uttar Pradesh in February/March 2022
    • Goa in February/March 2022
    • Manipur in February/March 2022
    • Punjab in February/March 2022
    • Uttarakhand in February/March 2022
    • Himachal Pradesh in November 2022
    • Gujarat in December 2022
  • The dasa is of Moon/Jupiter till July 2022 and thereafter it will be of Moon/Saturn till February 2024.
  • From October 11, 2021 to June 4, 2022 – The transit Saturn in Capricorn at 12.43 degrees will approach the natal Ketu in Aquarius at 3.13 degrees till June 4, 2022. This is not good for the party. This will result in lower performance in upcoming State elections in 2022.
  • Between February 14, 2022 to January 17, 2023, the transit Saturn will aspect the natal Jupiter in Pisces at 23.01 degrees (except for a brief period between April 29, 2022 to July 11, 2022, there will not be Saturn’s 3rd aspect on natal Jupiter in Pisces). This will have the effect of some top leaders of BJP falling sick or expire. This will also not be good for party in the upcoming State elections in 2022.
  • Between January 8, 2022 to March 25, 2022 the transit Jupiter will be conjunct the natal Mercury in Aquarius at 25.33 degrees. This period is good for the party. However, if the first phase State elections begin between these two dates it is good. Else its not good for the party to perform well in the State election.
  • From October 18, 2021 to December 15, 2021 the transit Jupiter will approach natal Ketu in Aquarius at 3.13 degrees. This period is not good as some top leaders will fall sick or expire. There will be infighting within the party or some changes in the BJP ruled States are possible.
  • Based on the above, in the State elections of 2022 which are held between January 8, 2022 to March 25, 2022 (these are UP, Goa, Manipur, Punjab, and Uttarakhand) the performance will not be as per the satisfaction of the BJP’s internal opinion-polls. There will be some setbacks for BJP in some States. Overall, it will not be as per the expectations of BJP. The astrological reasons are given above. The positive impact of this period is negated partly due to the effect the Saturn’s aspect as mentioned above during October 11, 2021 to June 4, 2022.

Analysis:

The chart of Bharatiya Janata Party is given below. We will first analyse the chart of BJP with the past events. The events are listed below and the astrological reasons for the same are given against each event. The BJP was founded on April 6, 1980 at 11.45 am at Delhi.

The above chart is considered by almost all in the astrologers. We will analyse with major past events.

There is exchange between Sun and Jupiter. So, we will look at chart with the exchanged planets Sun in Leo at 7.17 degrees and Jupiter in Pisces at 23.01 degrees. This aspect of exchange should be kept in mind while reading the below-mentioned analysis.

  1. Demolition of Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992. This was spearheaded by LK Advani. The dasa was of Venus/Venus. The transit Rahu/Ketu were in Scorpio/Taurus at 28.02 degrees. In the natal chart, Moon is connected with Rahu and Jupiter too is connected with Rahu. On the day of demolition transit Rahu was going exactly over the natal Moon (at 26.03 degrees in Scorpio) in 6th house signifying riots, carnage, etc. and trine to natal Jupiter (in Pisces at 23.01 degrees) in the 10th house signifying office bearers of the party. The transit Mars was retrograde in Cancer at 3.31 degrees aspecting natal Ketu (religious places) in 8th house of destruction. The natal Venus whose dasa was going on is connected with Moon (in the 6th house of riots, carnage, etc.), Ketu (in the 8th house of damage, demolition, etc.) and Saturn’s 10th aspect on Venus. Saturn is the 8th lord of destruction and damage.
  2. Formation of NDA government headed by BJP in 1998. The Lok Sabha polls were held in 1998 and first phase began on March 10, 1998. The dasa was of Venus/Moon. The transit Jupiter was in Aquarius at 14.14 degrees in 9th house approaching natal Mercury in Aquarius at 25.33 degrees and also approaching trine to natal Asc degree Gemini at 23.36 degrees. The transit Sun was also in Aquarius at 25.28 degrees going exactly over natal Mercury.
  3. Formation of NDA government headed by BJP in 1999. This government lasted for only few days as Late Atal Behari Vajpayee failed to win the vote of confidence. The dasa was of Venus/Rahu. The transit Jupiter was Rx in Aries at 10.58 degrees in  trine to natal Sun in Leo at 7.17 degrees. The spoiler was the transit Saturn in Aries Rx at 23.18 degrees giving its 3rd aspect to natal Asc degree in Gemini at 23.36 degrees. The aspect of 3rd and 10th are always malefic whether in natal or transit. You all must keep this in mind.
  4. Gujarat Riots which began on February 27, 2002. The dasa was of Venus/Rahu. The transit Ketu/Rahu were Scorpio/Taurus at 29.26 degrees. The transit Ketu was afflicting natal Moon in the 6th house of riots and the same Ketu was afflicting natal Jupiter in Pisces at 23.01 degrees. The transit Rahu/Ketu were in exact mid-point to natal Saturn in Leo at 28.19 degrees which is lord of 8th house.
  5. Lok Sabha election 2004. The first phase of elections began on April 20, 2004. The dasa was of Venus/Jupiter. The transit Jupiter was Rx in Leo at 15.19 degrees in conjunction with natal Sun in Leo at 7.17 degrees. The transit Sun was in Aries at 6.51 degrees in trine to natal Sun in Leo at 7.17 degrees. The transit Saturn was in Gemini at 14.05 degrees giving its 3rd aspect to planets in Leo (i.e. Mars, Rahu and Sun). Due to this the performance was not upto the mark.
  6. Lok Sabha elections 2009. The first phase began on April 16, 2009. The dasa was of Venus/Mercury. The transit Rahu was in Capricorn at 11.23 degrees in trine to natal Venus in Taurus at 8.49 degrees. The transit Saturn Rx was in Leo at 21.42 degrees giving its 10th aspect to natal Venus in Taurus. The transit Jupiter was in Capricorn at 27.47 degrees approaching natal Ketu in Aquarius at 3.13 degrees. The performance was not at all saticfactory.
  7. Massive victory in Lok Sabha election 2014. The first phase of voting began on April 7, 2014. The dasa was of Sun/Rahu. The transit Jupiter was in Gemini at 18 degrees coming to aspect the Asc degrees of 23.26 degrees and also natal Mercury in Aquarius at 25.33 degrees. The transit Sun was in Pisces at 23.38 degrees exactly going over the natal Jupiter at 23.01 degrees.
  8. Massive victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019. The first phase began April 11, 2019. The dasa was of Moon/Mars. The transit Jupiter was Rx in Sagittarius at 00.13 degrees approaching natal Moon in Scorpio at 26.03 degrees. Moon dasa was also going on. The transit Saturn was in Sagittarius at 26.06 degrees giving its 3rd aspect to natal Mercury in Aquarius at 25.33 degrees. Mercury is lord of Asc which signifies the BJP leaders. Due to this there were several deaths of well known leaders like Manohar Parrikar, Arun Jaitely, Sushma Swaraj, etc. in 2019.

Let us now see the current dasa and transits and its effects in the future on BJP.
