Much awaited change of guard of the Pakistan Army Chief finally over on November 29, 2016. As per hindu tradition any new and auspicious beginning is done on a good muhurat. It is said any work done on good muhurat lasts long and gives good results. Now coming to General Bajwa, he took over from the erstwhile Army Chief General Raheel Shareef on November 29, 2016 at 11.27 am at the Rawalpindi headquarters. His tenure will be for a period of 3 years.
We will study his oath taking chart with the following objectives in mind;
– How will his behaviour be towards the Pakistan and its neighbours
– Will he share cordial relations with Nawaz Sharif
– Will he work in tandem with Pakistani terrorists groups or will be go against their plans
– How will his overall performance be

The day when oath was taken the panchang parameters were as follows;
– Tithi – Amavasya
– Vedic day – Tuesday (ruled by Mars)
– Nakshatra – Anuradha (ruled by Saturn)
– Yoga – Sukarman (ruled by Mars)
– Karana – Naga
– Hora Lord – Moon
Now let us go through each of the above parameters.
Tithi is Amavasya….No good work is begun on Amavasya day. It is the day of Pitrus. So Amavasya is avoided for any good work.
Vedic day is Tuesday…..It is ruled by Mars. It is a malefic and always good work is done on Mondays, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Sunday is middling. Since it’s oath taking for military, then Tuesday is probably good as Mars signifies military and army services.
Nakshatra is Anuradha……It is ruled by Saturn. The people born in Anuradha nakshatra have soft attributes comprising of love, friendship and affection. It lacks harshness. People are of soft nature. These people have fluctuating mind and thoughts and always worried about something or the other. They are highly dominant. These people have gone through many hurdles and also overcome them. These people are of positive attitude. Its lord Saturn is in the 11th house a “Bhadaka” sthana for Capricorn ascendants. It is in conjunction with Sun the 8th lord and also with Moon the 7th lord a “Maraka”. So, he will have several obstacles (since Saturn is in Bhadaka sthana) and will get into lot of controversies (conjunct with Sun lord of 8th). His actions itself will prove to be dangerous for him.
Yoga is Sukarman…….Its a good yoga. So no comments on this.
Karana is Naga…….It is a portentous one. People with this karana will have to face unlucky events and will be full of struggles and problems. They will though get results through hard work. These people get irritated easily.
Hora lord is Moon…..The planet Moon is in the 11th house in bhadaka sthana lord of 7th a maraca. Moon is is debilitation and combust being in amavasya. So Moon loses its potency.
Now let us dwell upon the horoscope analysis
The Ascendant / Lagna rising is Capricorn 20 degrees 31. The lagna is in a critical degree called “Mrityu Bhaga”. The lagna lord Saturn as mentioned earlier is in 11th house a bhadaka sthana. Saturn is combust being close to Sun. So the lagna lord is weak. The lagna is very close to Mars degree-wise. This Mars though exalted in natal chart it is debilitated in navamsa though it attains neecha bhnaga there. This shows that person will not be dependable and very ferocious in nature (Mars). He will be stubborn and will take firm and fierce in his actions. He can go crazy with these combinations. He can overrule Nawaz Sharif too. He cannot be taken for granted is for sure. He has taken oath when its “Sade Sathi” (7.5 year cycle of Saturn). The next transit of Saturn to Sagittarius (in January 2017) is going to challenging as in the Ashtaka varga its has only 21 points and in BAV of Saturn it has only 2 points. These 2 points are contributed by Sun and Mars. So whenever, Saturn transits the “kakshya” of other than Sun and Mars, he will face severe challenges. The Saturn also being his lagna lord will transit the 12th house from Lagna, which is not good. This transit Saturn will go over his natal Venus and Mercury. Venus is lord of 10th house (representing profession). So transit Saturn going over natal Venus and transit Rahu aspecting it from Leo will prove another challenge for him. The lagna lord Saturn is Amatya Karaka (AMK) which represents status, profession, recognition, etc. This Saturn is in Bhadaka sthana in natal chart and in the 8th house in Navamsa afflicted by Rahu/Keu and Mars. In the dasamsa it is in the 12th house. Currently, the dasa of Saturn going to be till February 2017 will prove very challenging as the transit Rahu/Ketu is afflcting it in Navamsa and Dasamsa.
Simhasan Chakra
I am also including the concept of Simhasan chakra. Normally, this chakra is used for oath taking of heads of state/country. But in this case, I am using this chakra as in Pakistan, Military establishment is of special importance and it runs parallel with the Government. Many times we have seen how military chiefs have taken over the government and rules over.
In Simhasan chakra, Moon plays a very important rule. Moon is in Anuradha nakshatra which falls in “Aasan” patta. Moreover, Moon should not be afflicted by malefics. Moon is conjunct Saturn and with lord of 8th Sun. Moon is neecha too. Moon placed in higher naadis gives immense power and authority. Moon in lower naadi like “Aadhar” gives reduced authority and limited power. Here Moon is in Aasan which is one above Aadhar. So power will be of average nature. Since, Moon is afflicted he may even misuse his power and longevity will be short. It is said that when Moon is in Aasan naadi with Saturn and afflicted destroys the king. So placement of Moon is below average and longevity of his tenure is a big question mark.
Now let us study it from tropical (western astrology). The chart for the oath taking moment is given below.
The ascendant rising is 14 Aquarius 37. The ascendant is very close to Mars. Which shows he is authoritative and with dictatorial attitude. The asc lord is Uranus. Uranus is sesquiquadrate (adverse aspect) to north node in the 7th house. He is a person who will not listen to any person who opposes (7th house) him. It is square (adverse aspect) to Pluto which is on the cusp of 12th house and lord of 9th. His actions will be of secretive nature (12th house) and he will not listen to his seniors (9th house). In this case the senior can be taken as Nawaz Sharif. Similarly, in any chart the aspects to Moon and Sun also plays a very important role. In the above chart Sun and Moon forms many malefic aspects to North node, Uranus, Neptune and Venus. His 10th house lord (signifying profession) Jupiter is also forming malefic aspects to Pluto and Uranus. The 10th house cusp is in critical degree 0 Sagittarius 33.
Conclusion:
Based on the above analysis it can be summarised as;
– He will be very authoritative and will not listen
– Since, Moon in Simhasan chakra is afflicted and Lagna is Mrityu Bhaga, the longevity in the position is highly questionable.
– Since, Lagna itself is in Mrityu Bhaga, he can create issues and hurdles for Nawaz Sharif. He can work for his own self interests.
– His period of 2.5 years beginning January 2017 will be full of turbulence as he will be under the sade sathi where the ashtaka varga has only 21 points.
– His actions during the above period will be highly unpredictable.
