Based on the analysis, the chances of Charanjit’s name stands a first chance for announcement for CM candidate over Navjot Singh Siddhu. This should not be construed that Charanjit Singh will become CM after elections.
Analysis:
Indian National Congress is yet to annouce its Chief Ministerial candidate for Punjab. Soon, Rahul Gandhi has said he will take a decision on the CM candidate. Now, who will get the chance to lead as CM. We will analyse the charts of both Siddhu and Channi and see who stands a better chance. This article is only limited to annoucement of CM candidate. This should not be taken as Siddhu or Channi become CM after the elections.

The Asc rising is Sagittarius at 8.26 degrees. The Asc lord Jupiter is in Pisces at 19.31 degrees and is in exact square to Rahu/Ketu. Jupiter is also Rx. Jupiter is in the nakshatra of Revati, a Adhimitra star fro Asc star (Moola). Asc is also is also in the star of Mula, whose lord is Ketu, which happens to be a Yogi planet. Jupiter is aspected by Saturn Rx by its 3rd aspect from a tithi shunya rahi Capricorn. So, Jupiter is under affliction from Rahu/Ketu and Saturn. Saturn carries with it aspect of Mars (by its 4th aspect) also. The dasa is of Venus/Saturn. Saturn is in Capricorn, tithi shunya rahi and it is in the star of Moon, the 8th lord. In the rahi tulya navamsa Saturn is in 8th house. The transit Ketu is transiting over natal Moon and Mars in Scorpio. His dasa lord Venus is in the 25th star from his Asc star. The 25th star will give results only after performing remedial measures. So, he should offer grains to sparrows. This will give him some postive results. Overall, loooking at the Dasa and transits, it is difficult that his name will be announed as the CM candidate by the Indian National Congress Party.
Now, let us look at the chart of Charanjit Singh Channi.
The Asc is Pisces at 15.51 degrees. The Asc lord Jupiter is in Pisces at 6.09 degrees in Uttara Bhadrapada ruled by Saturn. In rashi tulya navamsa, Jupiter is in 6th house, which will give controversies and will get the position only after revolt, fight, etc. The dasa is of Venus/ Jupiter. The dasa lord Venus is in the star of Satbhisha, which is 26th star from Asc star. The 26th star signifies, meeting people who are supportive. So, he will get support from Indian National Congress party and as well as his supporters. Now, looking at the transits, the trasnit Ketu/rahu is transiting in exact trine to natal Rahu/Ketu in Cancer/Capricorn. The transit Jupiter in Aquarius is approaching natal Moon (which is a yogi planet) in the 4th house of position and it is lord of the 5th house too. The transit Saturn in Capricor is afflicting the antara lord Jupiter in Pisces.
