Analysis:

Planetary conjunctions have occurred in the past and it will occur on February 12, 2021 also when 6 planets (Sun, Mercury, Moon, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn) will be in conjunction in the sign Capricorn (Chart of conjunction given below). Similar conjunction also occurred in the past on many occasions in various signs. The conjuncts those occurred in the past were on…

October 10, 1950 in the sign Virgo, where Saturn, Ketu, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Sun were conjunct. Major events in the year 1950 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1950_in_India#Events.

February 5, 1962 (this was a Solar eclipse) in the sign Capricorn, where Sun, Mercury, Moon, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn were conjunct. Major events in the year 1962 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1962_in_India#Events.

September 9, 1979 in the sign Leo where Jupiter, Rahu, Mercury, Sun, Saturn and Venus were conjunct. Major events in the year 1979 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1979_in_India#Events.

November 14, 1982 in the sign Libra where Saturn, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Sun and Venus were conjunct. Major events in the year 1982 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1982_in_India#Events.

December 11, 1993 in the sign Scorpio where Moon, Rahu, Mercury, Venus, Sun and Mars were conjunct. Major events in the year 1993 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_in_India#Events.

December 26, 2019 (this was a Solar eclipse) where Saturn, Moon, Ketu, Jupiter, Sun and Mercury were conjunct. Major events in the year 2019 were https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_in_India#Events.

In Brihat Samhita, there is a mention of “Planetary conjunctions” under the Chapter 17. As per the text, conjunctions are of four types namely,

  • Bheda conjunction, where the conjunction occurs when the disc of one of the planets appear eclipsed by that of the other planet
  • Ullekha conjunction, where the conjunction occurs when the disc of one appears to rub against the disc of the other.
  • Amsumardana conjunction, where conjunction occurs when the light of one mixes with the light of the other.
  • Asavya (Apasavya) conjunction, where when the planets are distinctly apart from each other.

There are various results attributed to above types of conjunction. When planets are in Bheda conjunction there will be drought in the land; friends and persons of great families will turn into enemies. If the planets are in Ullekha conjunction there will be wars in the land and princes will quarrel with their enemies, but there will be abundance of good food. When planets are in Amsumardana conjunction, kings will be at war and mankind will suffer frfom weapons, from diseases and from hunger. If the conjunction is of Asavya (Apasavya), then rulers will be at war with one another.

Now, the conjunction of February 12, 2021 (New Moon chart) as stated above is occurring in the sign Capricorn. The degrees of the planets are Sun at 29.07 degrees, Moon at 29.07 degrees, Mercury at 22.07 degrees, Venus at 18.38 degrees , Jupiter at 18.28 degrees, , and finally Saturn at 12.23 degrees.

In astrology planets are at war when there are within the 1 degree orb. Beyond one degree orb the planets are said to be in Asavya conjunction. Further, the Sun, when it is in the mid-heaven (in the 10th house) is know as Akranda planet, when it is in the east it is known as Paura planet, and when it is in the west it is known as Yayin planet.

Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are always known as Paura planets.

Moon is always known as Akranda planet.

Ketu, Mars, Rahu and Venus are known as Yayin planets.

The planet that suffers defeat in conjunction will cause sufferings to the objects it represents; but if triumphant, the objects will prosper.

If a Paura planet should suffer defeat in conjunction with another Paura planet, citizens and rulers will suffer. Also, if a Yayin (marching towards the war) planet should suffer defeat in conjunction with another Yayin planet or if an Akranda (setting up a war cry) planet should suffer defeat in conjunction with another Akranda planet of if either a Paura or Yayin planet should suffer defeat in conjunction with a Yayin or a Paura planet respectively, the objects represented by the planet which suffers defeat will suffer miseries.

In the above February 12, 2021 conjunction, Jupiter and Venus are within 1 degree orb, Jupiter being lesser in degree than Venus. Conjunction between Jupiter and Venus happens only once a year and that too when so many planets are in conjunction it’s a rare phenomenon.

In the above case, there is planetary war between Jupiter and Venus, Jupiter is the loser. Hence, as per Brihat Samhita, travellers and eminent men will perish. The Brahmanas and the Kshatriyas will be at war and there will be no rain. The people of Kosala (Kingdom of Kosala (Sanskrit: कोसल राज्य) was an ancient Indian kingdom, corresponding roughly in area with the region of Awadh[2] in present-day Uttar Pradesh.), Kalinga (Kalinga is a historical region of India. It is generally defined as the eastern coastal region between the Mahanadi and the Godavari rivers, although its boundaries have fluctuated with the territory of its rulers. The core territory of Kalinga now encompasses a large part of Odisha and northern part of Andhra Pradesh. At its widest extent, the Kalinga region also included a part of present-day Chhattisgarh.), Vanga (Vanga was an ancient kingdom and geopolitical division on the Ganges delta in the Indian subcontinent. The kingdom is one of the namesakes of the Bengal region. It was located in southern Bengal, with the core region including present-day southern West Bengal (India) and southwestern Bangladesh. Vanga features prominently in the epics and tales of ancient India as well as in the history of Sri Lanka.), Vatsa (Vatsa or Vamsa (Pali and Ardhamagadhi: Vaccha, literally “calf” was one of the solasa (sixteen) Mahajanapadas (great kingdoms) of Uttarapatha of ancient India mentioned in the Anguttara Nikaya. Vatsa or Vamsa country corresponded with the territory of modern Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers.), Matsya (Matsya Kingdom (300-700 BC) was one of the solasa (sixteen) Mahajanapadas (great kingdoms) during vedic era as described in the hindu epic Mahabharta and 6th BCE Buddhist text Anguttara Nikaya. Viratnagar in the in northern part of Jaipur district in Rajasthan was its capital. It had Kuru and Surasena mahajanapadas to its north and east respectively.), Madhyadesa (Madhyadesha or the “middle country” was one of the five sub-divisions of ancient India that extended from the upper reaches of the Ganga and the Yamuna to the confluence of the two rivers at Prayaga. The territory of middle region constitutes a cogent entity—geographically as well as culturally. Inside Brahmanical northern India (ancient Aryavarta) this region has been instrumental in guiding main currents of history and spread of civilization from a very early age.), Surasena (Kingdom of Surasena (or Sourasena) (Sanskrit: शूरसेन, Śūrasena) was an ancient Indian region corresponding to the present-day Braj region in Uttar Pradesh, with Mathura as its capital city.) and Eunuchs will suffer great miseries.

Apart from these, the conjunction is of Asavya (Apasavya), and according to Brihat Samhita, the rulers will be at war with one another.

As per the conjunction of planets on February 12, 2021, following events are possible.

  • The parts of India as mentioned above (see Kosala, Kalinga, etc mentioned above) will suffer miseries
  • Travellers and eminent men will perish. The Brahmanas (probably Hindus ?) and the Kshatriyas (Probably Non-Hindus ?) will be at war and there will be no rain.
  • Tensions will be at peak with China/Pakistan. It will result into war/war-like sitiation. This is because, Jupiter (8th lord, as per India chart where Taurus is rising), Venus (6th lord) and Mars the 12th lord are aspecting the 3rd house signifying neighbours. In addition, these planets aspects the planets in the 3rd house of the India chart. Also, Ketu aspecting the planets in the 3rd house. Pluto is also aspecting the Moon of the India chart closely placed in the 3rd house.
  • Some senior member of the political party will face health issue or expire (conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn).
  • Communal and religious disturbances will rise (all planets in conjunction in the 9th house)
  • Stock exchange can see new lows (lord of the 5th house, Mercury of India chart signifying stock markets is in the 9th house and its aspected by transit Ketu).
  • Accidents in the communications sector (aspect of Jupiter, Venus, Ketu and Mars on the planets placed in the 3rd house signifying communications).
  • Some noted personalities from entertainment industry will face bad health or expire. The reason is same as given above under stock exchange.
