In the above article the prediction was done only till August end 2016. My prediction on a “All India” basis was very clear, where I had predicted that between July 11th to 31st we will have heavy rains and thereafter no rains or below average.
In the latest report for period up to August 24, 2016 as per IMD, the rainfall is below average of 2%. Refer…

You all will remember, IMD had safely predicted above average rainfall of 107% for the whole rainy season. As per the above link where all India map is given, it is clear that except Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the other regions have either been average or below rainfall. Assam, Meghalaya, Punjab, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch, Daman & Diu, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala, have received deficit rainfall. The other regions have had average rainfall. As per the website of IMD (in the link provided above), the definition of AVERAGE rainfall is + or – 19%. The EXCESS rainfall is + 20%.

Conclusion:
From the above, the rains will be in the 1st week of September, 2016. Thereafter the rainfall will be below average and start receding.
