We all know that planets keep transiting the houses and signs. There are basically two types of planets namely slowing and fast moving. The Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury are known as fast moving planets and these stay in one sign for less than 30 days. Whereas the planets like Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto stay in a sign for a longer period and thus the impact of these are there for a longer period of time. Mars though stays in a sign on an average for 45 days, but its contact with other slow moving planets like Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto will have devastating effects depending upon the house and sign the conjunction takes place.
Now let us take up India Independence chart and see the effect of conjunction of Mars and Pluto which will occur in the month of November, 2014.
The lagna of India Independence chart is Taurus. In transit Pluto is in Sagittarius which is a fiery sign. In the month of November, 2014 Mars will come in contact with Pluto in Sagittarius. Around 10th November, 2014 the conjunction is going to be exact at Sagittarius 17 degrees.
Mars and Pluto both signify violence and war. The outcome need not be taken in the real sense of war, but a war like situation like mass scale conflict, violence, riots, etc. Pluto signifies “group” activity which could mean achievement of an objective which concerns a group of people or community or country at large. Pluto also denotes nuclear weapons. It can also mean use nuclear weapons to carry out annihilation of enemy on a large scale. I know I am stretching too far. But situation of these types can happen though the degree may be to a lesser extent. The effect of this will largely depend upon the natal horoscope in which we need to see whether Pluto forms any conjunction with other planets. In the India chart the Pluto is in the 3rd house (represents neighbouring countries, negotiations, etc) along with many other planets. Pluto forms a close conjunction with the Lagna lord Venus in the 3rd house. Now, the conjunction of Mars (the 7th lord of the chart and 12th lord) will be in conjunction with Pluto in Sagittarius. The 7th house represents foreign affairs and the conjunction happening in the 8th house. When the same conjunction happened in last time it was in November/December, 2014, when whole of India came on roads to protest against the rape incident that happened at Delhi.
